Munchies4You (PTY) Ltd. is a company registered in the Republic of South Africa under the registration number 2024/270421/07 and are the owners and operators of the Domains that constitute The Platform.
Both personal and non-personal information collected is safeguarded according to the highest privacy and DP standards adopted worldwide. We have always had a robust and effective DP programme in place that complies with existing law and abides by global DP standards.
We recognise Our obligations and will update and expand this programme to meet any future amendments to any of these global DP standards.
We use Your Personal Information to provide and improve Your experience on The Platform, and this Privacy Policy governs the use thereof and explains how We collect, safeguard, and disclose information that results from such use.
By using The Platform, You agree to the collection and use of Your Personal Information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

2. Our Commitment

- Strong security measures are taken to protect Your Data from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. All sensitive Data is stored behind multiple firewalls on secure servers with restricted access.
- We provide You with the opportunity to opt-out of receiving newsletters about newly offered Listings, promotional offers, or system changes and enhancements.
- In the unlikely event that the security measures We employ on The Platform are compromised and any of Your Personal Information or Usage Data in Our possession is compromised, We shall notify You thereof as soon as reasonably possible.
We are committed to processing Data in accordance with Our responsibilities under the GDPR.

By voluntarily supplying a rating, review, testimonial, or uploading, submitting, or otherwise making available or contributing any content in a customer rating, review, or testimonial on The Platform, You grant The Company the right to display Your full name and the location of origin in close proximity to the whole, part, or derivation of Your submitted rating, review or testimonial anywhere on The Platform.
3.5 Transaction and Usage Data
We may also collect and store Usage Data that Your Device, browser, or operating system supplies while accessing The Platform.
This Usage Data may also include information such as IP, MAC, browser type, browser version, pages visited, time and date of visit, duration of visit, and other diagnostic data.
Transactional data may also be collected, like Your previous purchases and favourites, in order to provide You with future suggestions on Your return visits to The Platform.
3.6 Uploaded Media
By uploading, submitting, otherwise making available, or contributing any Media to The Platform, You grant The Company the right to display Your full name and location of origin in close proximity to the whole, part, or derivation of Your submitted Media anywhere on The Platform.
4. Notice
We will clearly inform You when Personal Information is asked for, and You will have the choice to willingly supply it or not. Should You choose not to supply Your Personal Information, You will not be able to make use of The Platform as intended. Generally, this information will be requested when You register an account on The Platform and will be used to populate Your Profile.

When you willingly provide Your Personal Information, You consent that it can be used to populate Your Profile on The Platform and that We are an authorised holder of such information. When registering Your account, You are giving Your consent.
6. How to opt-out
The Platform provides You the ability to opt-out of receiving communications regarding newly offered Listings, possible promotional offers, or system changes and enhancements. You can opt-out by clicking the link provided to You at the bottom of these emails, in Your Profile settings on The Platform, by using the unsubscribe page at Unsubscribe, by using one of the Contact Us forms provided to You on The Platform or by emailing Us directly at Communications@Munchies4U.co.za.
7. Access to Information
You are entitled to review the Personal Information You supplied Us and ensure that it is accurate and current at all times. To review or update this information, simply visit Your User Profile on The Platform.
8. Use of Data
The Platform uses the collected Data for various purposes, including:
- to complete Your Profile on The Platform;
- to provide and maintain the services offered by The Platform;
- to notify You about changes to The Platform;
- to allow You participation in interactive features on The Platform, should You choose to do so;
- to provide You customer support if so needed;

9. Retention of Data
- We retain information for as long as it is needed to provide the services on The Platform requested by You and others.
- We retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period than Personal Data, except when Usage Data is used to strengthen the security or improve the functionality of The Platform.
- We may retain information from deleted accounts to comply with the law, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, assist with investigations, enforce Our Terms and Policies and take other actions as permitted by law. We use a third-party Service Provider as a Payment Aggregator.
We guarantee that all e-commerce transactions follow the latest security measures and use the best available technologies as set by the PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) as managed by the PCI-SSC (Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council), which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of payment information and are a PASA (Payment Association of South Africa) regulation.
